On April 3rd Bucharest Stock Exchange emerged 15 companies that has qualified to the finale of the first edition of the Made in Romania project. The unique concept of the project is aimed at identifying and promoting most dynamic and high potential Romanian companies, that will participate in unique mentoring program organized by the BVB and partners. Entities qualified to this program are not a public companies.
Selection of the final 15 companies was organized in 3 stages. From 166 nominees, the Nomination Committee consisting of 12 experts, selected the best 50 entities which qualified to the next stage. Among the 12 Nomination Committee experts was Piotr Białowąs, CEO of Carpathia Capital SA.
13 most dynamically developing companies chosen by the Jury and 2 companies by online voting has qualified to be a part of the Made in Romania project. During the project (April-November 2017) company employees will participate in workshops and thematic training in the fields of: marketing, finance, corporate governance, innovation, led by the leading experts. As a result, companies will gain additional incentive to develop by learning about best practices and business solutions.
During the Gala, two companies – Bittnet Systems (portfolio company of Carpathia Capital) and Ropharma – received the BVB Special Recognition and were invited to the Made in Romania project in the capacity of experts. Both companies are listed on the BVB.
